Description
Deutsch: Die Reihe konvergiert gegen 1. Die Animation illustriert die Bildungsvorschrift, bei der jedes Folgeglied durch die Halbierung des vorherigen Gliedes entsteht. Auf diese Weise ist einzusehen, dass bei jedem Schritt die obere Schranke 1 nie überschritten wird und damit auch die unendliche Reihe gegen 1 strebt.
English: The series converges to 1. This animation shows the rule how this series is forming. Each sequence you get by dividing the precursor by 2. In each of this steps the supremum is 1 hence the limit of this infinite sum is also 1.
